Oolong means semi-fermented. A darker oolong from Taiwan, know as Formosa Oolong is one of our picks for a savoury, almost black tea, oxidized to perfection by Taiwan's tea masters. The longer the oxidation time, the blacker the tea. During the process, the leaves are shaken in bamboo baskets. Thus our name, Bamboolong! A bonus of oolong tea is that the leaves can be infused several times.
50 grams makes approximately 20 cups; but actually 60 cups if you infuse it over and over.
