On September 1, 2020, in the middle of a global pandemic and 13,580 km away from her home in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, Uan Le took over the reins of Lady Baker's Tea from founder, Katherine Burnett. Such a brave undertaking. She had no idea what she was getting into joining this crew, but she has fit right in. Uan is trained as an architect and before her move, worked as a director at a large international firm in Vietnam. Uan came to Prince Edward Island with her 2 teenage children and is enjoying the new pace of life on the Island. Uan is very energetic and hardworking and brings some great new perspective to our little company.
Uan has been connecting with and making many friends on PEI and helping others who have just moved here navigate in a new country. She is missing her son who recently moved to Toronto to study, but is grateful that her daughter is still on PEI attending high school.
Uan has been a great addition to the TEAm at Lady Baker's Tea and we look forward to many more adventures to come.
