Lady Baker's Christmas Wish

 

 

"Are you Lady Baker?"

I get asked that question often! Irene Baker was a good friend. I named my business after her. She was thirty years older but in spite of our age difference and life experiences, connecting with her seemed so natural. I recently read this quote by Johann Wolfgang Von Goethe:

"What you get by achieving your goals is not as important as what you become by achieving your goals."

I am truly excited and thankful for who I have become on this tea journey. I am reminded of all the friendships, past and present, which have helped me understand that a seemingly unsurmountable burden can become a challenge, a blessing in disguise! Friends in the form of siblings, parents, aunts, cousins and children have been instrumental in helping me cultivate a positive approach to my small business venture and to life itself with all its joys and sorrows.

So here is this Lady Baker's Christmas wish: I wish all my readers and friends a very wonderful Christmas season and a year full of challenges, new adventures and relationships, and lots and lots of opportunities for growth!
