My favorite memory is when I visited my partner in Lethbridge for Valentine’s Day in 2014. We went to a small local Indian restaurant for dinner, it was great. That was my first time visiting Lethbridge, and little did I know that I would end up moving here two years later to attend university. It is fun to look back on my first experience in the city.

Jena and I were in the first year of our marriage- indeed only 2 months in so we entered the local supermarket contest to win the Valentine gift basket — We won. The basket included a gift certificate for a pedicure that my wife was most delighted about - I put that gift certificate on the fridge, under a magnate - and then we moved out of the house -
We put the gift certificate in a box of stuff clearly marked for IMMEDIATE use to denote our need to keep the contents readily available.
And there the certificate is still - we have never seen it since - nor the box.
